The exhibition Love and Death marks the inauguration of the Gucci Museo in Florence’s Palazzo della Mercatanzia. Two large video installations, Fire Woman (2005) and Tristan’s Ascension (The Sound of a Mountain Under a Waterfall) (2005) are shown. They are part of project inspired by Richard Wagner’s opera Tristan und Isolde.
