He creates a projection in the shape of a triptych as an altarpiece for the 17th century Chapelle de l’Oratoire in collaboration with the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nantes (Nantes Triptych). A birth scene on one side (with Bill and Kira’s son Blake) and a death scene (with his mother’s final hours in hospital) on the other frame a figure floating beneath the waves as though in space, pivoting between the two opposite poles. The video interprets human life as a moment suspended between birth and death.
