Kira Perov and Bill Viola return to Japan, travelling to Fukui to present five installations at the local Fine Arts Museum in the context of Fukui’s Third International Video Biennale. Bill Viola is granted a five-year fellowship by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He films a birth as part of a long-term project on the universal themes of the human condition.
