He graduates in Experimental Studies from Syracuse University’s Visual and Performance Arts Faculty. He enrols in a summer workshop on new music at Chocorua in New Hampshire, studying with David Tudor with whom he forges a lifelong relationship, and takes part in Tudor’s “Rainforest” project. He shows installations and video tapes for the first time in an exhibition entitled New Video Work at the Everson Museum. First public performance of Tudor’s Rainforest IV at the Everson Museum.
