To mark the completion of the restoration of the Palestrina Pietà attributed to Michelangelo, the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence hosts Viola’s video Emergence. The artist’s talk, scheduled for 20 April, is cancelled on account of the eruption of Mount Eyjafjallajokul in Iceland, which effectively puts paid to all air travel.
