Connections is Palazzo Strozzi’s accessibility scheme for people suffering from cognitive and psychological disorders addressed to daycare centres, associations, residential structures, district services and organised groups. In each activity the works of art are the foundation on which free connections and sensory experiences are built to empower different types of communication.
For the Donatello, the Renaissance exhibition the Connections scheme consists of a presentation meeting and on-site tours on the basis of an agreed schedule. All activities are in Italian only.
Presentation meeting
The presentation meeting will take on line and is designed for all healthcare and social professionals (educators, psychologists and therapists) (who plan to accompany a group, in order to work together on the scheme in relation to the exhibition currently on.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 March from 15.00 to 16.00. All prospective participants must subscribe to the scheme.

The activities take the shape of on-site tours with small groups of people in the exhibition halls and workshop spaces. The exhibition tour is based on a limited selection of works of art, in front of which each participant is urged to express him or herself and to share his or her personal opinion. In the course of the tour there will be various occasions for interaction involving sensory experiences.
Activities must be booked by 22 April at the latest.
