With mysterious shapes, surprising materials, pure colors and impossible reflections, Anish Kapoor transforms the environments of Palazzo Strozzi and creates an engaging dialogue with each person who observes his works.
During the activity Red, Yellow, Black and a Hint of Blue we look together at some of the works on display in the exhibition Anish Kapoor. Untrue Unreal and discover how this great artist uses materials and colors to shape his thoughts and challenge the way we see reality.
The works are the starting point for personal experiences and group sharing, while activities and practical exercises in the rooms allow people to experience the exhibition in a playful and fun way.
In the workshop we rework what we have discovered and complete the experience by experimenting with a material dear to the artist: pigment, a colored powder that almost seems to disappear when touched, when thrown into the air it becomes a cloud and when placed on a surface it transforms it by causing the invisible to surface.
Red, Yellow, Black and a Hint of Blue is designed to be played by adults and children together: the exhibition thus becomes an opportunity to experience art with the whole family.
