Works of art preserve the personal memories of artists and their era, each contributing
a piece to our understanding of history.
In the exhibition The Thirties. The Arts in Italy Beyond Fascism (22 September 2012-27 January 2013) we’ll explore some of these fragments of memory through close observation and activities, and discover how these works can also bring our personal and family memories to light. Back in the studio we’ll get creative designing a machine with no engine and no wheels… a memory machine!
