What does our body look like? What does it consist of? We can see, touch and move our eyes, nose, hands, feet, but what is there under the skin? Some parts remain invisible even to the most curious and attentive gaze. And how does the body change when we sleep, dance, laugh or run wild? Tracey Emin’s art suggests an experience of discovering the body in its many parts and varieties.
From Head to Toe is the activity that Palazzo Strozzi proposes for the 3-6 age group: it includes a first part inside the exhibition Tracey Emin. Sex and Solitude, during which, thanks to narrative moments and sensory experiences, we will discover together the works of this great contemporary artist.
In the second part, in the workshop, we are inspired by the works seen in the exhibition and experiment with various materials to give shape to the infinite parts of us.
From Head to Toe is designed to be carried out by adults and children together: the exhibition thus becomes an opportunity to experience art with the whole family.
