Every Wednesday from 14.00 to 14.30, starting 9 October.
A 30-minute tour exploring the art of Natalia Goncharova and the European Avant-gardes.
The activity is suspended on 25 December and on 1 January.
Every Wednesday Palazzo Strozzi offers an in-depth exploration of Natalia Goncharova’s art from her first artistic experiences in Moscow to her success in Paris, via her development of an eclectic style capable of dipping equally into Russian tradition and into the European Avant-garde movements.
A 30-minute break to explore the art of one of history’s most multifaceted artists, guided by students taking the Museum Education courts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Visitors may continue their tour of the exhibition under their own steam at the end of the activity.
Activity free of charge but a ticket to the exhibition must be purchased. Reservations are not required.
COOP 2-for-1 offer: all COOP members taking part in the activity can purchase two tickets to the exhibition for the price of one (€ 13,00).
The scheme is produced in cooperation with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze’s Communication and Education Department (Professors Luca Farulli and Cristina Frulli), with the support of Unicoop Firenze.
Participants in the scheme: Beatrice Cervi, Ginevra Clementi, Laura Fidanzi, Rachele Persello, Emilia Pratesi and Leila Vignozzi.
Art Break is part of the programme of activities developed to facilitate formative experiences for university students through Palazzo Strozzi’s exhibitions.
