Every Tuesday at 18.00 – starting 5 April – a 30-minute tour of the Donatello, the Renaissance exhibition will be conducted by students from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze. Allow yourself a break in your busy day to discover Donatello’s art, to explore the expressiveness and the multitextural aspects of his sculptures as well as the numerous major projects he was commissioned to work on in Florence, Siena, Prato and Padua.
Each tour is dedicated to a selection of works offering a key for interpreting a specific aspect of Donatello’s output. Tours are conducted by students enrolled in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze’s Museum Education degree course who have taken the educational module in art communication. The members of the group are Annalisa Cestelli, Petra Bardelli, Federico Ferri, Beatrice Pasquali, Ludovica Pescarolo and Mattia Torelli.
Art break is a project produced with the support of Unicoop Firenze and is part of a programme of activities developed to foster educational experiences for students through the exhibition in Palazzo Strozzi.
