A Day in a Life of an Archaeologist

Every Sunday from 10.30 to 12.30.

This activity was devised to turn art into a family experience in discovering the exhibition Power and Pathos. Bronze Sculpture of the Hellenistic World. While exploring ancient sculptures like real archaeologists with the tools of the trade, families analyse the materials, size, poses, and expressions of statues on display.

After their visit, each family can create an archaeological find of their own in the workshop using different textures and materials, letting imagination run free.

This activity was designed specifically to turn art into a family experience with active participation from both parents and children.
