To the air, wind and rain For elementary school classes III, IV and V.

On the occasion of the exhibition Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels visits and workshops are offered to schools of all levels to experience the exhibition as a space for personal experimentation and sharing with the whole class.

The tours are calibrated for different age groups, are structured in a dialogic mode and include hands-on experiences in the exhibition. Workshop activities follow the visit and invite reworking of the stimuli received from the works through an experience to be done independently or in groups.

Before the visit

Free meetings are organized for teachers in the first days of the exhibition opening, and materials are made available to prepare for the visit, deepen some content about the artists, and make the activities more inclusive.

After booking, teachers are asked to fill out a pre-visit questionnaire (available soon) that collects information about classroom characteristics in order to improve the visitor experience.

Visit to the exhibition

In the visit to the exhibition Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels the classes III, IV and V of the elementary school are accompanied to discover the poetics of the great contemporary artist. His works, made with layers of many different materials, explore the themes of myth, memory, history and are continually modified by the passage of time.

The tour focuses on observing the works to discover details and share possible meanings. The visit includes a dialogic mode to encourage the expression of one’s own ideas and offers hands-on experiences to relate to art through creativity as well.

Visit + Laboratory

The visit to Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition can be completed with a workshop where classes experience some of the processes the artist uses. How does a work of art change over time? What happens when we leave a painting in contact with air, water and earth?

From the stimuli received along the way, the boys and girls create works made from colors, raw materials and natural elements, which will then be exposed to the continuous transformation of time.
