The Family Kit is the tool that Palazzo Strozzi has devised for children (aged 5 and above) and adults to enable them to share art in a fun and creative way.
The Family Kit takes the form of a map with which to explore the rooms of the exhibition Anselm Kiefer. Fallen Angels, discover the works of one of the most influential contemporary artists and have fun with activities to do in front of the paintings and sculptures. The Kit suggests a path through the works and materials, through a journey that begins with the large painting from which the wing of an airplane sprouts (Luzifer) and ends in front of a battle between angels where the archangel Michael flies triumphant in a golden sky (Engelssturz), a canvas more than 8 meters long that embraces the gaze of all who enter the courtyard of Palazzo Strozzi. A selection of works with which to play and approach art, being amazed by Anselm Kiefer’s imagination.
With the Family Kit you can observe, invent, learn, and create, in order to share art with the whole family.
The Family Kit is designed to be used independently in the exhibition rooms in Palazzo Strozzi and is available free of charge:
